I actually LOVED this place, and I'm sure glad that I didn't see the other reviews before booking this. Im surprised the place is only 20 years old, it does feel like it's from the 50's. We booked it for the views, and from that standpoint, it sure did not disappoint!! Best views of anywhere I've stayed worldwide, except maybe Hawaii, Bali and Guam. We had a view of the working lighthouse from our bed, and the balcony had ROCKING LAWN CHAIRS! I found that part just divine. The beds were comfy, shower was great, and the restaurant looked so pretty. LOVED the friendly dogs belonging to the front desk crew; so fun and welcoming. My biggest concern was that there was no carpet, so the halls were LOUD, like when people rolled luggage carriers past, ugh! One dog barked loudly close to bedtime, but only once, thank God, cuz sound really does carry in that place. Other than that it was quiet and we slept like babies, probably due to the surf. I'd actually go back.
